Electronic Stuff

Aah, those Halcyon days working on valve oscillators, signal generators and oscilloscopes. Hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of volts whizzing around, probing with the Avo 8. Who remembers the ECC83 or the KT66 now!

Those old circuits taught you respect. One slip and you were frazzled. Then came transistors. I remember the OC71. The 2N3055 still in use today.

For fans of Tesla Coils (VERY DANGEROUS) and Nixie Clocks etc check out Mike Harrison's Electric Stuff Website. Don't be tempted to make a coil and blow yourself up.

Check out this Austrailian guy and his coils - 500,000 volts worth.
